Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MapAnim, including our mobile application, website, software, services, templates, map animation tools, purchase services, and related features.

MapAnim is a brand, product, application, website, and service operated by Shenzhen Tapyin Technology Co., Ltd. In these Terms, "MapAnim", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Shenzhen Tapyin Technology Co., Ltd., operating the MapAnim brand and services.

MapAnim is a travel map animation app and service that helps users create animated travel route videos, map videos, route visualizations, and related media content.

By accessing, downloading, purchasing, subscribing to, or using MapAnim, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use MapAnim.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You may use MapAnim only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable laws.

If you are using MapAnim on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that entity.

MapAnim is not intended for users under the minimum age required by applicable laws. If you are under the applicable minimum age, you may use MapAnim only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. OUR SERVICE

MapAnim allows users to create travel map animation videos and related visual content. Features may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating animated travel route videos;
  • Adding start points, destinations, waypoints, and routes;
  • Importing GPX or other route data where supported;
  • Adding photos, videos, or media files selected by the user;
  • Using map styles, vehicles, templates, animation effects, and export settings;
  • Generating video previews and final exported videos;
  • Accessing free or paid features, subscriptions, licenses, credits, or premium content.

We may update, modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of MapAnim at any time, including features, templates, map styles, models, export options, or paid services.

3. USER ACCOUNT AND ACCESS

MapAnim may allow some features to be used without creating an account. However, certain features, purchases, licenses, subscriptions, support services, cloud functions, or website services may require an account, email address, license key, purchase verification, or other access credentials.

You are responsible for keeping your account, purchase credentials, license key, device, and login information secure.

You must not share, resell, transfer, misuse, or attempt to bypass any license key, subscription, activation method, payment verification, or access control mechanism.

We may suspend, disable, or restrict access if we reasonably believe that your account, license, subscription, or access method is being misused, shared, resold, abused, or used in violation of these Terms.

4. PURCHASES, SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAID SERVICES

MapAnim may offer paid services through different purchase channels, including but not limited to:

  • Apple App Store;
  • Google Play;
  • The official MapAnim website;
  • Other authorized payment channels.

Paid services may include subscriptions, one-time purchases, licenses, activation keys, credits, premium templates, premium models, map styles, export features, or other digital services.

Prices, available plans, features, billing periods, trials, renewal terms, and payment methods may vary depending on your country, platform, purchase channel, promotion, or product version.

You agree to provide accurate purchase and billing information when required.

5. APP STORE AND GOOGLE PLAY PURCHASES

If you purchase MapAnim through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your payment, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund are handled by the relevant platform according to its own terms, payment rules, and refund policies.

MapAnim does not control Apple App Store or Google Play billing decisions, refund approvals, cancellation processing, payment methods, or processing times.

You are responsible for managing or cancelling subscriptions through the platform where you made the purchase.

6. WEBSITE PURCHASES

If you purchase MapAnim services through the official MapAnim website, your payment may be processed by Stripe or another authorized third-party payment provider.

Website purchases may include one-time purchases, subscriptions, licenses, activation keys, credits, premium features, or other digital services.

By making a website purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method you provide according to the purchase terms shown at checkout.

For subscriptions purchased through the website, you are responsible for cancelling the subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue using the paid service.

7. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Refunds and cancellations depend on the purchase channel.

For Apple App Store purchases, refund and cancellation requests must be submitted through Apple.

For Google Play purchases, refund and cancellation requests must be submitted through Google Play.

For website purchases, refund requests may be handled according to the MapAnim Refund Policy and the refund terms presented at the time of purchase.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically provide a refund for previous payments unless required by applicable law or stated in the applicable refund policy.

8. LICENSE TO USE MAPANIM

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MapAnim grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use MapAnim for personal or lawful business purposes.

This license does not give you ownership of MapAnim, its software, templates, models, map styles, design assets, branding, technology, or other intellectual property.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or resell MapAnim or any part of the service;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, watermark, attribution, or proprietary notice;
  • Circumvent payment, subscription, license, activation, watermark, export, or access restrictions;
  • Use MapAnim to create, upload, export, or share unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited content;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or integrity of MapAnim.

9. USER CONTENT

You retain ownership of photos, videos, routes, project files, generated videos, music, text, and other content that you create, import, upload, edit, or export through MapAnim ("User Content").

By using MapAnim, you grant us a limited license to process, render, preview, store, transmit, display, and otherwise use your User Content only as necessary to provide, operate, maintain, improve, support, and protect MapAnim.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal rights, permissions, and licenses to use any photos, videos, music, routes, logos, trademarks, maps, or other materials included in your User Content.

You must not use MapAnim to create or share content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy rights, breaks applicable laws, or contains unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, misleading, or prohibited material.

10. GENERATED CONTENT AND EXPORTS

MapAnim may allow you to export videos, images, route animations, map visualizations, or other media content.

You are responsible for reviewing exported content before publishing, sharing, selling, or using it commercially.

MapAnim does not guarantee that generated routes, travel paths, locations, maps, timing, animations, or visual results will be accurate, complete, suitable for navigation, or suitable for any specific purpose.

MapAnim is a creative visualization tool and should not be used as a professional navigation, safety, emergency, transportation, aviation, maritime, surveying, or legal mapping tool.

11. MAPS, ROUTES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

MapAnim may use third-party services to provide maps, payment processing, analytics, crash reporting, cloud hosting, app distribution, customer support, or other functionality.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, licenses, restrictions, fees, and availability.

We are not responsible for third-party services, third-party content, map data accuracy, route accuracy, service interruptions, pricing changes, or decisions made by third-party providers.

12. PROHIBITED USE

You agree not to use MapAnim to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, platform rule, or third-party right;
  • Create, upload, process, export, or distribute unlawful, infringing, harmful, abusive, hateful, deceptive, or misleading content;
  • Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or harm others;
  • Upload viruses, malware, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt systems;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to MapAnim, user accounts, systems, licenses, payment systems, or data;
  • Abuse refunds, subscriptions, free trials, credits, activation keys, or promotional offers;
  • Scrape, copy, resell, or commercially exploit MapAnim without authorization;
  • Use MapAnim in a way that may damage, overload, or impair the service.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or misused MapAnim.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

MapAnim, including its software, source code, design, interface, templates, models, animations, map styles, branding, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and other service materials, is owned by or licensed to Shenzhen Tapyin Technology Co., Ltd.

Except for the limited license granted to you under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

You may not use the MapAnim name, logo, brand assets, trademarks, or service materials without our prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

14. PRIVACY

Your use of MapAnim is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose information.

By using MapAnim, you agree that we may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We try to keep MapAnim available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, platform, network, region, or third-party service.

Some features may depend on your device, operating system, app version, internet connection, payment status, location, third-party services, or platform rules.

We may perform maintenance, updates, bug fixes, feature changes, or service changes at any time.

16. DISCLAIMERS

MapAnim is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, and error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that MapAnim will meet your expectations, that exported content will be suitable for your intended purpose, or that map data, route data, location information, or animation results will be accurate or complete.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shenzhen Tapyin Technology Co., Ltd., MapAnim, and our directors, officers, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of content, business interruption, device issues, payment issues, or loss of goodwill.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim related to MapAnim will not exceed the amount you paid to MapAnim for the service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you have not paid for the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

18. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shenzhen Tapyin Technology Co., Ltd., MapAnim, and our directors, officers, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of MapAnim;
  • Your User Content;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights;
  • Your purchase, subscription, refund, license, or payment activity;
  • Your publication, sharing, or commercial use of exported content.

19. TERMINATION

You may stop using MapAnim at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to MapAnim if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, violated applicable laws, abused the service, abused refunds or subscriptions, created risk for MapAnim or other users, or used MapAnim in an unauthorized way.

After termination, your right to use MapAnim and any related paid services may stop immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions.

20. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

We may also notify users through the app, website, email, or other appropriate methods if the changes are significant.

Your continued use of MapAnim after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.

21. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights under local consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited by these Terms.
